This female White-browed Rosefinch was busy destroying the flower (wonder which one this is) to smithereens (towards what purpose I couldn’t figure) when I was tracking her. Her ginger-brown throat and breast was in contrast to the bright lemon-yellow of the flower and both of these were accentuated by the nice bokeh-ed background. Through the viewfinder the entire scene looked really lovely to me.
I was hoping to finally snag the male, since he was hopping around in the vicinity and I didn’t have any decent images of him so far. But he was forgotten while I was mesmerised by this lady.
Damn, despite all the advancements in technology, one still can’t exactly replicate the beauty that one sees in nature – this photograph isn’t a patch on what my eyes saw that morning.
