Played a scratch round in a Monthly Medal tournament at my home course a couple of weeks ago. It came 6 years and 298 days after my last one. Hopefully, will not have to wait that long for the next one;-)
I did some hunting around for a probability of this and stumbled upon some USGA data. And interestingly, it tells me that the probability of someone with a handicap index of 3.9 shooting a score of 72 on a course rated 73.2/130 is 1 in 379. Which does roughly translate for me to once in 5 years. So, par for the course;-)
